Alison Clemency Buddenhagen is a rising star in London fashion. She hails from sown-to-earth Yorkshire, and her fashion creations appear deceptively simple at first look. Yet you will find them on the international designers floor at London Fashion week, next to the cream of the collections like Lanvin. Her work features combinations of leather jackets and evening dresses worn with studded belts, and well-cut straight-leg trousers that give off a classy yet edgy vibe.
She works out of her home office, where she has her 2011 Spring/Summer collection hung up on a functional clothes rail. After launching her collection only a couple years ago, the label has gained acclaim as an alternative to the traditional luxury brands. Her clothes are turning up on models and rock stars' wives across Britain and overseas.
